These are the "Latest & Greatest" of my Bushcraft design. Thicker handles, larger guard, more contouring....with the same bullet-proof CPM 3V steel, spear-point design, scandi grind and 4-pin handle construction = TOUGH! :thumbup:

I am really PISSED OFF.
i pm'd Dan just after 3p.m. yesterday and spoke for the "middle" knife (one with smaller handle). at that point it had not been spoken for.
i live in Canada but always have knives sent to my USA shipping address.
i tried to pay PP via his website but it only recognized my Cdn billing address, so it showed shipping as $30 for "international".
i pm'd Dan 3 times asking for his PP address because if i go directly to PP then my USA shipping address is recognized.
he never responded until this evening and said "sorry, all knives sold"
that is dishonest service.
i have bought at least 20 customs on these forums, no problems 'til now.
i'm purposely posting here to warn all non USA potential buyers: "don't get your hopes up with this seller".

I think you should post a seperate thread in the GB&U forum, to let others discuss the subject in the proper area instead of in the sale thread.

rprocter I think you should realize that one doesn't get the kind of feedback that you see Dan getting from other members here by being someone that deserves any kind of warning or worry when dealing with him. If you have problems with Dan you are severely in the minority. It was a first come first serve sale with very few available, he warned folks including myself to buy now or lose the opportunity. It should be obvious that he is busy and can't be expected to baby sit every sale on hot items like this. He is one of the most respected people on these forums and an asset to the forums. Quite frankly I don't see how its his problem that your registered pay pal address is set up wrong! You know the address that is listed in the payment can be changed don't you? You are the only one that can do it not Dan. Take this to the GB&U forum rather than further bickering in his sale thread.

If you want one that bad you can have the one I bought. Dan, if it has not shipped to me yet you are more than welcome to refund my payment and take care of this guy and fix me up later letting him have that one. I'm not in any hurry and can get one next time around if need be.

Your call. If not I'm cool with that also.

Sounds to me as if your attempts to circumvent PP rules and international shipping charges cost you the knife not anything anyone else did or didnt do.:thumbdn:
