The first thing that came to mind looking at your knife was the Becker BK 18 Harpoon. The similarity is in the stepped spine. His point is down at the midline, so the concept is much different.
I actually thought the same thing after the new BK18 was released. Had I known about the BK18, I think I would've purchased one for testing and incorporated and learnings from that into my design. But, I'm pretty happy with the similar knives I did have and use to get some functional cues for this one.
I think I'll likely try a BK18 in the future as it is nice looking knife but I do think the BK18 is much more along the "tactical" look, mostly from the swedge which I don't like for camping or bushcraft as it eats up batons and thumbs. It's still pretty slick, as most Beckers are. I also like the departure from black on black.
