Bushcraft - pink/purple finish going to be ok with you guys?

tongue-in-cheek or no, the as heat-treated finish was a big part in my decision to snag one of these puppies. just needs to not have the letters.
 
it'll still be "as-heat-treated"....the satin finish takes the purple off...but leaves the original mill-scale.

You would end up removing it yourself the first time you had to clean the knife. A big part of the bushcraft was to have a knife that was easy to refinish....this finish can be restored with a simple scotchbrite pad.

hardheart - I have to leave some thickness to the bevels before heat-treat - to avoid decarb at the edge. So, I have to regrind the bevels anyway.

Really, guys...it took probably 5-10 seconds per knife to put this finish on...:foot:

Did this whole batch in 5 minutes. :thumbup:
