First of all, just a reminder what we're voting for: The sheath of a bushcraft knife. I.e. it should be the best option for that particular purpose.
I voted for #1.
This is definitely the best choice IMHO.
There is one major improvement that can be made on it though. Do the sheath belt loop with only 1 fastening (the lower one), That way, when not used the dangler will fall all the way down and not be in the way for the belt plus it's still hidden by the sheath itself. In one blow, you increase the comfort of the sheath and at the same time make it cheaper/simpler to produce.
The reasons for having a bushcraft double dangler are 2.
1. To have the knife lower so as to make the knife easily reachable under a jacket/shirt.
2. So the knife isn't underneath the belt of a backpack, making it impossible to get at and incredibly uncomfortable to carry the pack.
The #2 and #7 sheaths does none of the jobs for a double dangler. Even when its hanging low its still not low enough to get out below a jacket/shirt.
This is also true for when carrying a backpack plus the metal hanger is making it even more bulky and uncomfortable together with the rucksack.
No, #2 and #7 are the least good sheaths for a bushcraft knife if you ask me.
