Here is a neat little bushcraft/utility knife made from 5/32" O-1 with camo G-10 scales, toxic green liners and a threaded pommel of toxic green and black G-10 with 1/8" micarta pins. Knife was heat treated by maker in a propane forge and triple tempered. The spine has been differentially tempered with a torch. The sheath is wet-formed and hot-waxed 8-9 oz. leather and has a front pouch that holds an Altoid Tin. On to the Pics. (specs and price below)

And here are the current contents of the Altoid's tin(shown for illustration purposes and NOT included)

This would make a good all around bushcraft or camp knife. The "coke bottle" contoured handle is comfortable in many grip positions with no hot spots. This knife will stand up to batoning (within reason, of course) and still has an edge fine enough for notching traps or kitchen prep. The sheath contains an Altoid tin for survival essentials. I've shown a fire steel, mini-light and fire starters and there is still room for a small fishing kit, bandaids, etc.
Steel: 5/32" O-1
OAL: 10"
Blade: 5" tip to scales (flat ground)
Scales: Camo G-10, toxic green liners
Pins: 1/8" Micarta
Sheath: 8-9 oz leather (wet-formed and hot waxed)
Extras: toxic green pommel, accessory pouch on sheath

Price: $135 shipped CONUS

NOTE: Altoid tin contents are shown for illustration purposes only and are NOT included with the knife.

I accept PayPal or USPS money orders (PayPal preferred) CONUS Shipping is included. Looking good Randy, I love my knife from you with that blade shape, its the perfect bush/utility style(imo). Too bad I just spent $135 on my new chopper:grumpy: So would you make this same knife by request but have the camo g-10 cover the entire handle?

That is a good looking knife! why do I always miss your knives when I have money. or I'm broke when they are still up for grabs... :(

That sheath concept is fantastic!! Very nice work and certainly something to think about. I might like to have some sheaths made for other knives.

Also agree on the solid camo color.

Well done!

Thanks for the comments, guys. So everybody likes the camo scales, but hates the toxic green liners? good to know.

tac4me, send me a visitor message. I'm not really a sheath maker, but we can discuss it.

I love it the way it is! the only thing better than the toxic green liners would be orange liners (my two favorite colors). I have been carrying that little black and orange bushnecker, that i got from you months ago, everyday and love it. If this knife is still around when I get some cash I will buy it.
