Reduced for the Holidays!
Here are two bushcraft/utility style knives... they have several features in common:
100% handmade by yours truly. Full tang, full-flat-ground O1 tool steel, HT'ed to 58Rc by Peters' Heat Treating. Both take advantage of O1's toughness and fine quality to give you thin, reliable, super-crisp edges that work hard yet are easy to sharpen.
True custom features at prices rivaling lesser factory knives, like tapered tangs, shaving-sharp edges and stainless steel corby bolts/lanyard tubes. Crisp, square spines for scraping tinder or sparks. Both these beauties are light, handy and comfortable to use all day - or all week!
Hand-made, hand-stitched, custom-fitted leather sheaths, made by my wife and I. We use 9-oz vegetable-tanned leather, seal the edges with tragacanth gum and wipe the whole thing down with two light coats of neatsfoot oil. This makes for a good-looking and durable sheath that can still breathe.
All my knives and sheaths are Fully Warranted for as long as I'm able to work. These are cutting tools, not screwdrivers or crowbars
Individual specs:
Small Bushcrafter: Still Available!
4-3/16" blade, 1-1/16" at widest point
8-1/2" overall
.075" at the spine, .010" behind the edge - this is a serious slicer!
OD green G10 scales, black sheath
800-grit hand-rubbed finish
weight: 3.8 oz. (5.9 oz. w/sheath)
$140 includes all handling fees and insured Priority shipping in the US. International orders will probably cost a bit more for shipping.
Large Bushcrafter: SOLD, thank you!
5-1/4" blade, 1-1/2" at the widest point
9-5/8" overall
.150" at the spine, .025" behind the edge - nice and sturdy, but still very keen
brown canvas micarta scales, brown sheath
600-grit hand-rubbed finish with mustard/vinegar patina
weight: 7.2 oz (11.5 w/sheath)
SOLD, Thank You!$170 includes all handling fees and insured Priority shipping in the US. International orders will probably cost a bit more for shipping.
PayPal is preferred - contact me for details. If you prefer to purchase with a check or money order, contact me for my address. I will hold the knife or knives for 7 business days to give you time to mail payment. Personal checks must clear before shipment.
Thanks for looking!
