This bushcraft utility hunter is 3/32 thick and made of L6 tool steel recovered from a vintage 10" table saw blade. Its blade is 4.375 inches long, 1.5 inches wide and an overall length of 9.5 inches. I differentially heat treat achieving an edge hardness of about Rc 60 and draw the point back to about Rc55 for higher toughness. The spine is left at a lower hardness for maximum strength. The blade is full flat ground with a sharp convexed final edge. The blade finish is acid washed to achieve a modeled patina.

The purple heart wooden scales of this knife are bolted with stainless steel screws and round brass nuts, Loveless style, to the knives full tang and a brass lined lanyard hole. I feel bolts provide greater strength and durability than pins.

The tooled pouch sheath is made of heavy 8/9 ounce leather.

SOLD Price is $75 shipped in US
I take PayPal (my account is kelley_ward2@agilent.com) but take other forms of payment.

Thanks,
Kelley Ward
