Come on, there must be more bushcraft stuff around. In order to keep this thread alive:
My fist attempt to fabricate a cup. Tools: Birchwood, Hultafors knife, sanding paper , coal. The reddish shade comes from dipping the cup into red wine.

Here are some spoons and bowls I made a few years ago. I need to take some pictures of some recent stuff.
Got some nice White Birch logs from a landscaping crew; carves really nicely.

Some Birch and some Basswood in this picture.

Sorry to contribute without pictures. This thread has reminded me of what the ADHD of being an adult costs.

When I was an early teen, I was heavy into caveman craft. I created natural cordage, primitive stone blades and tools, fire kits, and other stuff with pride.

The stuff that I wish I still had the attention span and time for is long gone now, or pics would proudly follow.

This included functional baskets made with grass, and bags made of cattail leaves that were dried, resoaked, then twisted and woven into shape. Ended up very strong and durable too!

Thx for sharing your stuff guys. Makes me ache for simpler times, and inspires me to pick it back up again .

Carry on!

we're a patient bunch...we'll be here when you pick it back up again...hopefully soon :)

Word.

Speaking of, where on the forum do I learn to post pics? Been stubborn about not doing it till now. Bout time, right ?

Much obliged.
