So here is my smaller bladed Bushcrafter. Its my first real larger knife design which is odd since I am a woods monkey! I have been working on this design for awhile and think I finally came up with something I really like. Big handles, forward palm swell, and a finish that won't get scratched up the first time you use it. I still have to put one more coat of oil on the scales but it will be done by morning. No makers mark since I am still waiting on my stencil :grumpy: Sorry for the pics but I will take more in the daytime tomorrow. Comments are welcome and appreciated!
Aldos 1095 1/8", Antique finish Full flat grind
8 3/8 OAL with a 3 5/8" blade
Curly Claro Walnut scales. Pretty beefy, about 7/8 across. Look much better in hand and in better lighting
Stainless pins and lanyard tube
The sheath is by my custom leather worker. We worked on a design for an all around sheath and this fits the bill. Its horizontal/vertical and dangler. It can also be worn RH or LH, and of course a firesteel holder.
Price is $105.00 shipped priority with deliver confirmation

Thanks BG! I really like this knife, its my best one yet. Im going to do some with a 4" or so blade too but I kind of like this length.

Absolutely great looking knife. 'Bout time someone starts giving that guy down by Portsmouth some competition on here . . . just kidding BA, just kidding with ya' (bet my next knife just went up in price) . . . :)
Keep up the good work Chris, finally someone is making knives that will fit the larger hand market.
Be safe.

Thanks J1M although Bill has no competition here! He is the mentor and probably gets tired of my constant texts and calls! Yeah, I like bigger handles, always have on this size knife. They just feel better to me.

Had I not ordered something else recently, I would be game. Great looking knife and you added a well designed sheath. Many times I have to pass on knives because I do not want to have a custom sheath made, but this combo has got it all!

Love it Chris! That handle looks mighty comfortable and great job bringiong the edge all the way back! The sheath looks excellent as well.

At that price it's a no brainer. I'll take it bro, send me your paypal addy!

Tony, when you get your hands on that baby, post some pics & let me know how the handle works out. As a person with some large mitts, knives like this with larger handles are few and far between. I have a feeling one of these is going to be on it's way to Ohio pretty soon. Hope you enjoy it my man . . .

So I promised 3 buddies of mine,on another Forum, that I would let them know when the next KFU knife went up for sale.....and woke up earlier today to: "Let's move the furniture, honey!" and was handed a cup of coffee.....and so I missed the sale;daymit!

I SWEAR: If she hadn't been wearing negligee,I would have been stronger.

So help me God.
