Bushfinger F/S in Exchange

Saw it, blinked, saw it go to someone else. Andy, this one was awesome. I love the brown-on-brown look of the pins and bullseye. Damn fine work!!

But what a trio in natural canvas: 12" machete, bushfinger, and a hiking buddy!!!
Can't wait to take 'em out!
 
I think thats a great knife you got there. I made myself a new one last week with a nat can handle and nat can pins. I'm going to make myself a Hiking Buddy or a Bushcraft Karda when we get to the new shop, haven't decided which to make yet.
 
The package arrived yesterday and I got a chance to play with it a little.
What a knife! I can only confirm the feedback that has been given around the bushfinger.
Ergonomics, handle, sharpness, and beauty. Love the 3D spalting, amazing textures!
I immediately took it to some various woods I had laying around: seasoned willow, pine, box elder, blue oak, and birch...
The scandi grind bit into all of them no problem. Even managed to control the tip for some detailed work...
After these first impressions, I'm inspired to take it out into the cold woods (I'm 45 min. From Yosemite in the Sierras) for a few days and give it a workout!
Btw, being a lefty, I love the sheath! No need for requesting a special one!
