This one is an made from 1/8 inch 1095 with a scandi grind and machine satin finish. It has black canvas scales with red and black fiber liners sand to be "grippy". Comes with well fitted, nicely tooled leather sheath with belt loop. Has thumb jimping for added grip. Very comfortable in hand with no "hot spots". Fits medium to xlarge hands! What is the angle of the scandi grind approx.? Looks like a higher scandi so I guess it's quite a bit less than 12.5 degress?

I'm not sure of the angle. Don't have any way of measuring it exactly. It is a bit higher than I had planned, but that happens sometimes. Thanks for looking. - Joe

Use trig, how wide is the blade at the top of the slope, and how far from the edge is this point? this is a triangle, half the width is one leg of the triangle, the distance to the edge is the hypotenuse. Can you measure these two distances?
