I like those tan handles...I bet tan would look good with a black blade too.

It does looks awesome with black as well - the contrast makes the tan handles look almost red - just got that combo on a NMSFNO and it looks so sharp!!!

Just goes to show the versatility of tan micarta :thumbup:

I'm another tan canvas lover. It looks good with muddy and bama clay, on top of all of the other combos that have been listed.


Hand-shaped tan canvas is a beautiful thing.

I have never seen tanker grey with tan micarta and I think it looks just FRIGGIN GORGEOUS!!! The sage/tan looks amazing as well and is one of my all time Busse favs. I might have to add jungle green/tan as well....

Quick OT question: I've never owned tanker grey - is it a smooth coating like sage? Does it wear well?

It's textured, but relatively smooth. Sort of like a synthetic leather book cover.

I think I would go with that sage and tan if I ordered a second Bushwhacker. Its quite a different look from the tanker and black G10.

Here it is!!! My first Busse! BWBM with Orange G10 handles and Tanker Gray blade! I absolutely love this blade! I had no idea I would like it as much as I do! WOW!

I really can't describe how cool the handle pattern is. The pics don't even come close to doing it justice. This thing is sweet. Not even one ounce of regret or buyers remorse! This is going to be a user for sure! We've got quite a bit of snow though, so it may be a bit for I take it out and beat on it.

Thanks MM. I don't imagine I'll always pay the extra for the orange, even though it's my favorite. But, this is my first Busse and I wanted to get exactly what I wanted. I love it.
