ok so i found some time to leave the AO and head out to the lake during work...i took the BUSK and the camera and found some trees to fell.

overall in its chopping mode it handles VERY well. It bit deeply into the wood with each swing (granted my chopping technique sucks) and it didnt take long to get through the smaller branch...under a minute.

the larger branch was of course a bit tougher to get through but i made it pretty quick and with minimal effort. this knife held the edge i had on it pretty well. after the chopping i did i was still able to shave arm hair off ( more like scraping but hair still left my arm)

i like this knife alot...it makes camp craft much easier with the very well though out ergos of the handle

tomorrow: whittling and fine work....
