Wow nice review! The active duty is one of my favorite blades. I have a Boney AD and a Heavy duty AD and the standard .15 thick AD. Love all 3 versions!!!!!

I'd love a BAD with no choil. I owned a Muddy for a bit, but I had the same problem of always getting stuff caught in the choil. *sigh*

Agreed. This improves the ergonomics 100%. I did the same thing on mine, but nowhere near as neatly. But it still works well.

After I got the CABS and the Muk, my Active Duty has seen a lot less usage. Those two, IMO, are the best bushcraft blades Busse has produced.
I think I've sold off all my BADs, but I do still have one of the original AD's in snakeskin. I need to get it out and use it more.
