I have owned both. I didn't like the ergos on the Waki at all, but the AK is as close to perfect as any blade i've ever owned

Sorry for the delay, got busy. I did not attend Knob Creek so do not know what you are referring to? Just saw the pic's posted. The AK is yet another Busse offering I missed out on, as I had not yet found Busse/ Kin at the time they were released. The AK is one I desire to have or another..... must have.......... if you know what I mean, kinda like the Battle Mistress, had to have it! I want a AK or something a tad longer in INFI (Satin). Please Bring It Mr. Busse for the piglet's that missed the first round

I have chopped with both..................a lot.
The edge goes to the AK.

also a small thing but the AK has a smaller diameter handle, for my meaty hands I like the smaller diameter handle.

I don't see how INFI would be any superior than SR101 unless if you talk about rust resistance... 52100 already has great toughness and anything exceed that would be overkill. From my experience SR101 does hold an edge noticeable better than any INFI i have. It also take better/sharper edge.

I don't think anybody has inferred that SR101 isn't tough enough. They are 2 different designs, and all other things being adequate, design becomes the most important consideration.

Using the edge, I give favor to the AK, but i think the Waki will outperform with the tip, especially 1 handed.
