Yes, Opus Xs are really good Dominican smokes made by Arturo Fuente (company name, Don Carlos is the owner now and is Arturo's son) and they may be the only Puro Domincano cigars.

I just got a box of Tatuaje Havana VIs in the mail today. Puro Nicaraguan cigars. I'm a big fan of Nicaraguan cigars, especially anything made by Don Pepin Garcia/Our Father.

Believe it or not in my opinion, they're better than the Puro Cubanos (Cohiba, Partagas & Romeo & Julieta) I had on my honeymoon. The Dominican Partagas with the Cameroon wrappers are better than the real Cuban Partagas--go figure. The real Cuban Cohibas are better than the over-priced Dominican Cohibas though.

Never had a Habano, but I concur on the Nicaraguans. I love the plain old Padrons. Pure Nicaraguans, at a good price.

I agree that Padrons are great smoke to price ratio cigars. Oliva has some good, cheap longfiller cigars too.

I've burned well over 1000 Fuentes. Had 2 bad ones in all that time (both Rothchilds from same box). Hard to beat that record. For me its the Hemingways as my favorites. Padron Anni Maduros a close second in brand.
