I understand the ASH is sold, but I`m just interested in knowing about the sheath and how you got to fit the ASH in it.

For starters, the ASH-1 above is the thinner LE stock. It isn't the FAT .32" CG variety. Secondly, I took the insert out and heated it up over the stove top (electric) and gingerly flexed the insert until allowed the blade to go in. It is grooved where the edge sits, so it has to be placed in just right. I am sure there is room to improve the fit, but the next owner will get a chance to determine if it needs any additional adjustment. :)

As for which model, not really sure. Bought at Blade 2007 or 2008. Don't recall, but when I bought it, there were only two models. Long and short. This is the shorter of the two...
 
I just want to let you know that I showed photos of the Custom ASH 1 knife you sold me to the Busse people, and it will need work. Not actually the kind of business I am looking forward to. I think you ripped me off.
