I'm somewhat new to the blade forum. This is the first thread that I've started. I thought I'd share this sheath that I just received from Freddy Ramos, Ramos Customs out of New Jersey along with a busse tglb that I actually bought from someone here on the forum. Anyone else want to show there busse's and sheaths?

Nice. I like that. Kydex insert with the look/feel of leather. If you want more Busse sheath pics perhaps ask that this can be moved to the Busse subforum. I don't have any pics of my TGLB with the sheath but here is this lovely beast:

The sheath is kydex done by azwelke.

Nice! I like that it's used. I bought mine this winter and plan on actually using it this season. Thanks for the info.

Use the heck out of it! That is what it is for. Post more pics of it in/after use!

The Green/black G10 is my favorite combo with grey, I also love the tan/black combo.

I make my own sheaths, usually leather sometimes kydex depending on the knife and use intended.

Nice rig...but curious, why did you put kydex in your leather, for extra retention in addition to the handle strap?

I saw a picture of Martin leather sheaths from Norway I believe. He is the one who I believe is the initiator of this combo configuration. When I saw the look of his sheaths, the way the leather was pinched on the edges where the eyelets are and stretched around the Kydex they looked so 3 demotional to me. I really thought (think) they are a thing of beauty. So I endeavored To find a local maker who would take on a similar project. I helped Ramos design it and he went for it. He did well. It also slides in and out of the Kydex nicely. So I would say the functional aspect is that it adds retention to the blade. Thanks for all the input everybody.
