Busse/Art??

All art serves a function, but everything functional isn't art.

Wouldn't it be sweet if you could total a Ferrari doing donuts in the mud and they'd send you a new one? :)

agreed, on both accounts.

I'm a big fan of design, in all things. guns (a fine 1911 or the like), furniture (Eames, etc), homes (I prefer the modern), knives, etc.

every time I hold or use my ASH1, for example, I notice each and every contour, every (what I presume is a) well thought out detail. I love it.

that sort of attention to detail, these manifestations of ones imagination brought forth into reality, much less a useful reality... :)

My 97 year old grandmother kept commenting on what a beautiful knife my SAR-4 is as she was cutting up the Christmas turkey with it. She even mentioned it should be displayed. I told her, it already is. I keep it on my desk at home in one of those Spyderco large knife holders. I also have a tower that holds my folders as they are beautiful to behold as well. And to use! Sure would like to add a Busse folder to my collection.

(I've got to be more careful about getting rid of all the pet hair before I snap pictures. With three dogs and two cats, our place is loaded with the stuff)

I thought you had those hairs around to test the sharpness of your Bamma Clay Beauties.

I think the smooth bolt set from Easton is some of the greatest works of art made by Busse.

Just amazing!
