Gotta love the linen tigerhide micarta on those! Such a nice feel to em.

ASH I buy a hog , had the name of its first owner , a very nice person on the subject of knives , I think he liked his ASH , buy your knife on ebay, when I arrive , I liked your edge , you remov the layer of protection and I do not like what I saw , probably good steel , I do not know , I'll try hard, but stopped the imperfections with the protective layer on one side of the sheet appeared 4 points oxide about 3 mm length greater than 1 mm the smallest with a depth of about 0.1 mm I call it pitting not as there called in gringolandia on the other side of the blade is like watching a lake with waves after throwing a stone , debere apply my soft diamond stones on both sides and my compounds to transform the knife into a real beautiful knife , then I will give you hard and see if it is a good steel or just a simple spring steel . I honestly do not have it much faith in this steel , I think that will be better behave my thinner ASH , I have 4 busse , something tells me this hog is just flabby fat, but has excellent edge , reminds me of a 1095

Translation software can be amusing. :) :p

This one started out as a CG and it had the Tiger Hide handles hand shaped, a satin finish, and a "Stupid Sharp" edge by Ban Tang , Ban just concentrates on making his own knives now, but I'm sure Garth, or norcalblacktail could do a great job too:)

No matter what you decide to do with it, know that you have an amazing blade that has some history behind it. Congrats
