Please ask any questions prior to making a purchase commitment. My top priority is a hassle free transaction. I've done my best to accurately describe the condition of the knives I'm offering for sale, but there's always the issue of process variation and manufacturing tolerances inherent to this type of product so please inquire if there are issues of particular importance to you.
I will accept payment via USPS Money Order, or PayPal ("Purchase" type only, I will not accept PayPal Gift) with a confirmed address per the pricing listed. That being said, please be aware that if you have less then 5 positives as a buyer on itrader (or any negatives) I will prefer a US postal money order. I will ship via USPS w/signature confirmation and provide insurance to CONUS only.

Busse Basic 10 with Sheath: This knife was a blade show limited offering. To purchase this knife you had to catch a card entitling you to do so. Very few were available. It differs from the more common Limited Edition in that it has a double cut finish and does not have a serial number. I purchased it from a forum member in new unused condition. It's still has not been used, sharpened, or inserted in a sheath. A couple of points on the double cut finish: As can be seen in the photographs the double cut finish varies subtly in shade creating what might be called a “ghost” camo effect (my wording); pretty cool. Double cut finishes also tend to show use wear a little bit less then satin finishes. Here are the specs Jerry posted on the forum: .230 thick 10.25” blade, 15.25” OAL, 15 oz, Full height grind with a blended zero edge. Busse Custom Shop Desert Anorexic Badger Attack (DABA): I purchased this knife from Blade Art in 2006. The knife is new, as received from the factory. It has not been used, sharpened, or inserted in a sheath. Polished spline, “Rope” style micarta handle and a blade thickness of .159” on my calipers. The coating is about as good as it gets for this older style. I don't see any chips or scratches and only the most minor bit of imperfection on the right side of the blade along the grind line near the tip. It's really nit-picking, but it can be seen in the photo below. There is also a small spot in the choil area on the spline. I believe it's a finish issue, a missed spot in essence.
I'm not prone to talking up a knife I'm selling, but in my opinion this one is about as nice an example of a classic Busse as one is likely to find.$595 $570 $550 USPS MO / $616 $590 $570 PayPal
