I had a basic 7 which I traded a few years ago. To tell you the truth, I wish I still had it. I now use a basic 9 which has become one of my best 'user' blades for chores around the farm. The 7 was a nice knife with almost perfect balance. I suggest you keep it and just save your cash for a 401k.
