The regular polished blade Basic 9 is available from Little River Knives - http://www.littleriver.datasys.net/busse.html However, for a few dollars more, the BF store is selling them black coated.

I think Frank (Little river)and ABC Direct have just the Model 7's at this time, though I am not 100% certain.

Little River and ABC both have back orders with us on #9's. I am not sure where they are on our backorder list but both should get some very soon. We have only shipped the #7s so far. We have more #7s and Black #9s comming in tomorrow. Not enoungh to cover the 200+ we have on order now but we will do our best to get them out ASAP.

I know the blade is 9 1/2" longand 1/4" thick.I know the oal and that it comes with a kydex sheath.

how wide are the blades from edge to spine?

I mean like this is gonna be a "little" knife for me.
