Jerry, what's the odd's of this happening? You know somthing like the E series Satin Jack that would attach to a M4. I know it's unlikely to ever happen as a production run but me thinks it would make for one Hell of a Custom Project :eek: :D
 
a combat knife for a combat weapon... Hmmm, you might have something there...

interesting... not sure how that would be done.

obviously theres the battle gaurd from swamp rat wich is a similar project of adding something to a pre-existing design to make it more functional (or rather more task specific)....

i'd go for the 12 guage auto shotty ak47 bayonet (i think skunk posted? (albeit ducktaped into place)) :D
 
My thought on how to do it was to laser cut the ring at the same time as the blade then twist into posistion. I know it would be very tedious to do without cracking the steel but very possible considering some of the customs I've seen. The more and more I think about this the more I'd like to see one done :D

as in a barf style ring twisted (i guess forged in a sense) to be horizontal?

Or,

Just take an existing Bayonet, remove the blade and scales, drill two holes and bolt on the Satin Jackyouup.

This just reminded me.... could scrap yard knives be jerry's brother's knife company? I remember seeing a knife last year at blade but don't recall any ever going up for sale
