i've got a question, has the satin sh been stripped or is it original, reason i'm asking is metal appears to be a little pitted on each end of the scales.

I was told by the previous owner that the knife is in fact a factory refurb.
Coating removed, satin finished, convex edge, and "ERGO" logo applied.
Like gimmejr says, most older Busse knives that are not coated have pitting/dimples showing.
Only the "Presentation" grade ones are completely smooth from what I have seen.

"INFI dimples". Strip (almost ?) any coated Busse and you'll find the "pits" (dimples) on the non-machined/ground surfaces. Appears to be an artifact of the raw plate stock surface. Pete

These are not INFI but A2 if I'm correct.

INFI or A2, the stock alloy sheet/plate surface appears to have dimples. A2 and not INFI until late slotted fastener period. All(?) tube fastener blades INFI, or so I seem to recall from perusing these threads. Pete
