I finally got around to snapping a few shots of my haul... Mainly the Custom Shop knives, since the rest have been shown elsewhere a few times already.
Another BLADE, Another smoking credit card bill!
LOL...
Another year, another group shot of my favorite Busse small blades! Oh yeah... I got ADD bad!!!! ...Although somehow I mistook the colors on the one to the far left to be grey and red at the show... when I pulled it out of its wrapping, I wondered for quite awhile how this one got into my haul... Til I put on my sunglasses and looked at it remembering that not only had I worn them there, but how much the fluorescent lighting in the convention center can change the appearance of colors. Ah well... Guess I'll just call it the Hubba-Bubba (bubblegum) AD or something!
The FBM Tiger Bowie has to be my favorite from this year, however...
...Not impressed?? Try picturing it with an oiled handle...
Cool, huh? Nice grind on this one too! ...I only wet the handle down with water here for the visual. What I need now is a Dundee rig with a tiger theme to it for this one and then once I get the knife back, I'll oil it up nice!
This FBM Dress Bowie is pretty freakin' sweet too!
Wanna buy a new unused CF SARsquatch??? Well, this one's been busy, so that rules THIS fella out, LOL!! These are great for batoning!! Cool knife and fun to use. It went though this oak branch seriously fast!
I picked up a #27 at the Show. Funny story on this... knife hunter wanted to buy a Bird Dog, so when he's handed this one, he says to Dan Busse, "Wanna see something funny?? ... Hey, Jaaaaaaaaaaxx!!! I got #27!!!"" I yell, "Dan!!! I'M #27!!!"... LOL, poor Dan looked like he was gonna have a stroke when he saw me yellin! (although I was just messing with him!) Heh-heh, anyway, knife hunter was very cool to let me have it, and actually drew a lower number for his own. Thanks again, kh! I still owe you that drink & I won't forget!! Back home #27 Hairy carry LE was waiting for me thanks to one very cool RAT... Yep, better blame Porkerson!!
Here they are together!
That's all the customs, although I did also score a set of each of the SE 2008's... There were 2 different sets this year, the satin blades and the Competition finish blades, as ya probably already knew! They need to be cleaned up a bit, so I didn't photo them yet.
Thanxx for lookin'!
