Busse CABJ w/spec ops simple modular sheath: 435$ (11.95$ less than you'll pay from busse for a BOSS jack LE, except here you get a sheath, teklock, and thinner 1/8" stock)

Up for sale here is a Busse CABJ with a a spec ops simple modular sheath. This isn't like the LE version which is just under 3/16" thick, this is a custom shopped version that is 1/8" thick. It has standard sandstorm g10 slabs. It's been used, as seen in the pics and has some scuffing from the kydex. The markings on the talon/pommel holes are from a polishing stone that I used at low speeds to round out the sharp edges. Most of the edges came really sharp from the custom shop, the blade remained cold the entire time, and almost no material was removed. I've resharpened it with an 18 degree per side relief bevel and a 24 degree per side primary bevel. This is a great knife for anyone who loves the BOSS Jack, doesn't like choils and wants something thinner than the stock options.

I'll ship this either via usps priority or fedex ground depending on cost. If you have any questions, let me know. I am willing to ship outside of the united states, however: I'll charge the exact amount of shipping after it's been shipped/I know the cost, You'll have to tell me what to put on the customs form (be knowledgeable about your countries customs), and once it is shipped and I have the shipping receipt sent to you all responsibility for the knife goes to you. If it doesn't arrive because customs seized it, I will not refund the money (I really don't have the ability to as it will go directly into paying past rent debts).

Overal length: 11 5/16" (288mm)
edge length (from scales to tip): 6 1/4" (160mm)
Thickness: 1/8"
Handle thickness: 3mm
weight: 8oz

Heres a rundown of how it compares to other BOSS jacks as far as the thickness of the grind. You can see that it's thinner in all regards, at the edge, with a flat grind up to a thinner stock thickness:

price of an LE =
$397 LE price
$35 fancy g10
$14.95 shipping
= 446.95

Thats without the cost of the sheath and without the customization coast. It's around 100$ cheaper than what I have into it. at 435 your paying 11.95$ less than you would from busse and your getting a free sheath and sharpening.

The releif bevel is so that you only have to remove a little bit of metal to get the 24 degree edge back to shape, and it keeps it thin yet durable.

Wow, what a shame that you have to sell your Grail. If I could swing it, I'd buy it and hold it for you.

Good luck.

With the introduction of the new high hardness INFI heat treat there are new avenues of thin, mid to long length slicers. And I have 500$ in credit from Busse Combat from the helmet competition, so there are new opportunities on the horizon. I'm keeping my Proto, which is an absolutely fantastic edc blade that can do everything I want it to do, and I can experience carrying 1 fixed blade again for a while. While not great, the situation could be worse. I'm hopeing someone will buy this and use it like a late 80's honda
