Unused, unsharpened, never in Kydex, or as far as I know in leather for that matter. Folks that should know say that only 14 of these were offered to the public.

I want a Euro Caretaker LE.

Mike

Wish I had a Caretaker. I'd love to get a straight edge to go with my recurve. Those Desert NO's are just the coolest I've ever seen.

Good luck in your quest.

Rob

can you email me a picture or provide a link to where I can see what the desert outlaw looks like? Thanks

or maybe one of
these.

Mike: I already have a standard Caretaker. I am trying to round out my Outlaw and Outlaw cousin collection. Natural Outlaws are my favorite Busses.

If I don't get any takers, I may have to expand my horizons a little, to other Outlaw varieties that I don't have. But not yet. ;)

GF: It is identical to the one pictured above, with the same raptor scales.

Mike

Not that you would/wouldn't get any takers, but are any in the country? I've only heard of a few standards and never of an LE.

Bad time for Busse de to be down, eh?

Rob

Wet: Some LE's and standards were sold in the first Extravaganza. That's where I got my standard. Didn't make the cut on the LE's.

Mike

The Caretakers are clip point, no? The reason I ask is, I have what appears to be pretty much a standard NO-E that I got from a guy in Germany. However it has a butt grind and BB from Busse, along with both Blade Babes and Shaggi's lip prints and sigs on the blade. It happened to be the first knife through Jerry's new sharpening machine and both gals gave it their 'seal of approval'. LOL

Not a Caretaker (at least I don't think so), but not your usual Outlaw either.

I don't have a camera, but I'd send it to you to check out if you think it might interest you.

I'd REALLY like to snag a straight edge Desert. The recurve is awesome, but you know that having one. But, having both would be just ...........

Rob

I'll inform my friend about this, he has the Euro-LE.
That's the same as Caretaker, you're talking about?

His screen name is Ghibli.
:D

Santi: I think that the terminology has gotten mixed on some of the Extravaganza European knives. The Caretaker LE is a 6 inch, clip-pointed, satin finished knife. The fat Euro's and such were 4 inch knives, I believe.

If I am delayed in relpying to anyone who posts here, please bear with me. I have been laid low by a bad bug, and it is a big effort just to sit at this PC.

I'm not sure of the model name, Mike.
But the Euro-LE I'm talking about is this one below, and I'm pretty sure it has a 6" blade. :)

That's the one! Caretaker LE. The knife I have to trade is essentially the same knife, with a swedge grind and desert tan coating and handle slabs. IMO better balanced than the Caretaker. (I have a standard.) The reason I want to trade is because circumstances have left me with three of the 14 Clip point desert NO's made.

It's with me now :D Santi asked me to checked this thread out....

I have given it some thoughts and I'd still like to keep my blade ;)
