It's -32 wind chill here in So. Illinois today after we got 14" of snow yesterday. Actual temp is like -5.
This is the worst winter storm I remember.

I think it will be in the low 60s today at my house!!! This may sound dumb but I would like some damn winter weather here in California. We have had only one day of rain......

In my day we would have walked to work.
We did not STAY HOME from work just because it was MINUS 30 Degrees F.
We were so poor that I did not my first pair of leather shoes until our neighbors dog died.
We would walk to work in Winter with rags tied around our feet.

I hear you. The problem was it was so cold all the beer was frozen solid and you cant really expect us to work without beer can you?
