I've got a #'d FSH and a FSH 2007 SE. The 2008 is just a smidge thiner. Lighter and faster. Quite knice.
Must be inbetween the 5/16" and 1/4". My calipers down or I'd get you a number. If I remember correctly
it's in the neighborhood of .285".
 
HHFSH has a saber grind with a thickness of around. 27". FSH has a flat grind at around. 25" -.26" thick, as far as I know.

The '08 is just a smidge thinner. Quicker in the hand. Maybe better
balanced, you decide.
