Busse Combat Folder Features "Unparalleled, Proven Integrity" In "LIVE" Demos . . .

It would be nice to have a folder, since every size fixed blade has been produced a few times over. I'm not looking for a Nuclear, indestructable folder, just a nice nice everyday user (not too thick, something easy to pocket, I don't want to have to put it in a sheath)! :D

.

seconded. bring it.

I don't see what all the fuss is about....

 I call BS. There is no folder and probably won't be. Face it, folders are an entirely different ball game. I bet it would be cost prohibitive anyway.

But that's OK by me. Jerry makes a decent fixed blade and we can all appreciate that. Bring on the next fixed blade.

Faith Brother, just have faith:)

Something along these lines would be nice. Dwaine Carrillo.....

What is up with that horrible pocket clip placement? I'm not sure having a clip with no purpose is worth having...at that angle it looks like half the knife is still sticking out of your pocket?? lol

thats kind of like why have belt loops on jeans if someone is going to wear them so low half their boxers are still sticking out above the waist line.

Ah nevermind....looks like a lot of framelock makers are using clips in that position in conjunction with the lock itself.

Hmmm, function is good...but that can't be comfortableon the hip sitting in a car (scratching head)

^ What the heck is that? Is that the lil'bro to this thing? I like the protruding allen bolts on both blades. It should be uber comfy.

Me, personally, I really want to see a Gen II AK or a tactical Krukri. I folder could never be built, or with the case above - over built, to the strength or utility function of a fixed blade. I'd rather carry a GW or AD instead of shoving that thing into my pants and having people ask if that's a Transformer knife in my pocket or if I'm just happy to see them.

From time to time I think about Sending Severtech a fairly new Busse, maybe a Basic #9 and letting Him see how many he can make from one.

I sort of figure one for me, one for Him and a spare for Him to sell or maybe give to His Daddy.

On the other hand a Hack would be real easy to fit to a small Gentlemans Auto.

Good luck! The guy barely has enough time to make his own stuff from what I hear.

I use a folder everyday and a fixed blade only occasionally, so I have been buying a lot more folders than Busse fixed blades in the past few years. Having one of the Busse prototype folders is more of a novelty than anything else because the body is aluminum and not really a everyday user material, too bad it wasn't titanium, no pocket clip either. If a production version ever does comes out, I hope it isn't as thick and has a pocket clip.
I wonder how much the other Busse folder owners actually used theirs?

Good question. I wonder if there were too many moving parts that prevented it from going into production? Was the logistics the folder killer or was the proto flawed? We will probably never know.

Aww c'mon Tim, you can't fool us. We already know you're working on a set of titanium handles with a pocket clip for yours. Be sure to post pictures of that thing when you get finished :D.
