I'm no 5 star chef, but I think I'm a decent cook.

Good thing we got a Gladius on order, maybe it'll scare Amy a bit.

Can never seen to get an egg sandwich right though.... can never flip the egg at the right time....

What an honor it must have been to be part of something like this. People can say what they will about Bill O and Glen Beck, but these guys do some serious work raising money and support for our fighting Military personnel.

As retired military I applaud any effort to support our active duty members. Personally, when I donate to support our military members I give to the USO. The USO is completely apolitical and any serviceman that’s ever been in a combat zone or abroad knows the superb work the USO does for everyone. I steer clear of political types, and certainly anyone or anything connected with the “infotainment” industry; right, center, or left, because eventually it come back to what’s good for them and their career and not necessarily what’s good for the servicemen.

It’s a free country and Busse can do what they want, I assumed that by posting what they are doing they wanted to elicit comments and suggestions. I retired as a staff officer on the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and worked occasionally on donation efforts and requests by citizens and private groups. We learned that not everyone is as altruistic or organized as they seem up front. Some are totally altruistic and spot on with their efforts, some are sincere yet misguided about what they are trying to accomplish, and some are in it largely for PR purposes. My experience is decide carefully before you hitch your wagon to a specific effort or spokesperson. The more of a public figure is attached to an effort, especially from the media and/or entertainment world, the more careful I’d be. My suggestion about the USO is based on experience in dealing with them; totally altruistic and squared away, and they don’t want anything in return.
