All I can really say is WOW.
Jerry, Amy, & Garth,
You guys are the greatest ever. !!!!
Here is the story;
At Blade this year, Saturday night my rental car was broken into, & about 45 sheaths, Including the cool HOG sheath & a couple flamers, 4 or 5 knives, all the stuff from the OINK dinner & my new Pelican case were stolen, to the tune of about 6000.00.
One of knives was my HOG ASH-1 w/the cool flame sheath & the Carved HOG sheath (see pics)
Well after spending all day Sunday missing the show & dealing with police reports & Hotel rudeness ( I will never stay at that frigging Extended Stay America again service sucks & they were down right rude when it came to this issue !!!
) Nancy & I finally made it to the restaurant were the Busse gang were hanging.
At the restaurant, Jerry and Amy said we will get you another one & probably engrave "Buy Insurance" on it, I said that would be really cool, just let me know how much it will be.
Well yesterday, I got an unexpected Busse Box, & guess what was in it ........ My HOG ASH-1 with "BUY BACON" engraved on it. Oh Happy Day !!!!!!!!!!!
No Bill, or nothing. Called Amy O. this am & she said it was a family thing.
Man that is something I have never even heard of, in this industry or any other for that matter.
To say I am touched by the Busse Families generosity would be the understatement of the year.
A big, huge, enormous Thank you goes out to my Busse family from a very grateful HOG in Arizona, first round is on me at the next Blade.
