I'm wondering about this also. I have never hunted, but want to give it a try, so zero experience. Had planned to try last fall but broke arm. I hear both that the knife needs a sharp upswept point, and also it must be drop point, so I figure it has to do with field dressing vs "caping?." I'm total newbie. Regardless, the scapel really appeals to me, it's gorgeous. So ultimately I'm just trying to decide if I should get two rather than one. I'm sure your dad would love it though, even if the only purpose it served was reminding him of you, since you saw it and thought of him.

Don't know what to do here, this is small like the MBC I really want, then the choice of my 1st Satin Infi vs SR101.....what to do. I don't really need this one, nor do I feel the Infi has any advantage over SR in this package...someone tell me what to do with my money.........

Either would be awesome, this one is special.
I already have a small blade in INFI, so a BG was an easy choice.

Ultimately if it doesn't grab you right away, rest assure you can usually (especially the BG offerings) snag one off the exchange later.
 
In for one infi. Nice companion piece for the War Train.

Hard to pass up Custom Shop infi for under $300.

Sorry if I asked a stupid question, but what is the handle color of the satin blade? Is it green & black G10? Because it doesnt look so green to me.

I have a few Busse blades, but all of them are coated, so I'm not sure which color goes best with satin finish.

I believe that is indeed green and black G-10.
