I'm mighty glad it wasn't cbt. CBT, as I understand, isn't an extra process but rather one step less than a normal coated flat/saber. The CBT is the cnc process to start the grind, which is then flattened with a grinder. I'm guessing the knives that have a satin or otherwise uncoated version offered simultaneously don't have CBT because it allows them to finish all of the knives to the grinding, then either coat or polish them, rather than having to know how many you need to stop after the cnc and how many you need to finish further. How come the the WTF doesnt have CBT? Just to wide of a blade to add that many bevel lines? I figured for a monster chopper it would have it.
Also would the blade be to thin if they did hallow grinds on the custom shop WTF?

MOAO2WO. That seems to roll off of my tounge.
without question... even after months of longing for it..I still shake my head when I see the pic with the Ash2.. beautifulThis is the flagship of operation 2 weeks
It would suck if we have waited a long time and then at blade there are a ton of them. I don't think these have a prayer at being done by blade, at least I hope not. I bought it thinking it would be July or better before they would come out. Now I'm thinking maybe June
I highly doubt that there will be a table full of WTF's, or any other blade from O2W that has not started shipping, at Blade this year; however, I would not be surprised to see a few of them available at Blade as custom shop pieces or in small "throw the ticket" frenzies in the trough. That would actually make the trough warfare more exciting. Last year I skinned my knee pretty good while diving / clumsily falling for a ticket, and I would do that again for sure.
That would be really cool to see some WTF variants. I could see an extremely sick bowie + recurve with all that real estate.
