Busse Combat needs a knife named the WARTHOG and here's why

I know when I was a cold war trooper stationed in Wurzburg in the early 80's, i wanted those A-10's flying in the sky and helping deter the Warsaw Pact sitting on the other side of the Gap!!

Awesome pics. The nose art is really cool. Thanks for sharing. The front gun is a Vulcan(I think)anyway I have seen one of the small mini guns firing and this must be quite the site to see firing as long as your not downrange.Small wonder we finished up there quick.Makes you feel pretty good.I hope Jerry takes the name suggestion for one of his knives. It is a good one.

Those pics are excellent! I need to get a shirt with the "peace through superior firepower" on it. I loved that saying!

Even with all the slick, multi-g, multi-mach, stealth planes out there, the warthog is my favourite. I guess I just love the utilitarianism of it. Ugly and tough! :D

Just curious...... Am I the only one that has order the pin's and stickers.

I live near McEntire Air Base , in SC, and I have been near enough to the firing zone to hear those 30mm guns cycle. An awsome sound, for sure.

There's nothing quite lika an A10! A Buddy of mine used to have a tshirt with an A10 on it with the caption " A10 Warthog - Ugly but well hung."

Makes me feel a little jealous only having a 25mm gun to play with ;)

I knew we had some cool airborne war chariots, but I never knew we had anything THIS cool.

Kindly makes a guy want to go for a test drive/blow-stuff-up run, ey?

Raden...A link please? I gotta get one of those stickers!

3 favorite birds in no particular order

P51 Mustang
A10 Warthog
SR71 Blackbird

HOOWA!!! Gotta have a knife called Warthog! 5/16 or 3/8 SH size or so. That might do it.

The A10 is about my overall favorite as well. They are heavy, slow, ugly but very tough and capable. The Warren Grove Range is near where i live and I always enjoy watching them practice the "Circle the Hogs" maneuver where a target is pretty much under constant fire as the A10s circle and each takes its turn steep banking, swooping down, unleashing a string of 30mm rounds and then pulling up only to have the next A10 do the same thing over and over again. The target never gets a break!

Though the knife name is already taken, Jerry could do a "WarHog"or simply "A-10" and that would suffice for me.

Yeah... nothing warms the heart like close air support. If the Sarthog thing doesn't work out we could also go with SPECTRE. The AC130 is also a fine, fine piece of airborne firepower.
