Heres a pic of the original tagged prices from blade 2008 which was the first year of the culti. THe lowest is $287 in bottom left without g-rex. THe g-rex's were $317 and the mammoths in center were $397. THe price of $237 sounds low. WHen we had chance to buy em in 2008 it was sight unseen and I thought they were $267 + 6% tax=$283.02. I think that is right. Please coorect me if not, but since that was a sight un seen price the tags give more of a realsitic original price cause you cant hold the deal price against the guy that got the mammoth's;):D

I think that's right too. Garth told me the story, it was a grab box and they were all the same price, but it was luck on which one you got. After no mammoth tooth appeared for a while, you got all Hog like and bought the box :D ;)

Good on you OP for keeping an eye on this thread ... loads of work has gone into it ... and it has been requested by many of us to be a sticky ... but this has'nt happened ... yet .... but let's hope it is "stickied" when the crew come back from their brake after "Blade" ...

[ I have editted my post because on reflection it has only been a month and a half since it was started and Jerry did say he would look at this on his return ... so speculating "why" this has'nt been made a sticky is a little premature perhaps ... ]

I have always been on the "capitalist" side of this issue, post a price and see if someone wants it.

However, I do believe that some "dealers" here on Bladeforums need to reigned in. As it has been pointed out, there is an appearance that some "dealers" are associated directly with Busse Combat.

At the very least they should be required to post in the "Dealers" forum, not the general for sale Busse forum.

I feel that this activity has lowered the prices of Busse knives on the second hand market.

I think that requiring "dealers" to only post in the Dealers forum would go a long way in solving this festering issue.

I would be concerned that straying into speculation, and bringing up that topic again could get his thread locked.

Have you seen how many stickies we have already? I don't know if it will fit :eek:

Besides, it's not that hard to memorize all the prices of all the knives ever offered. There hasn't been that many ;)

Fair enough ... I had'nt factored in the "after blade" aspect as I know the crew take a break after blade and may be this is in the "in tray" for their return ... but on the question of "space" the Beer Helmet comp is now finished and if it were removed this thread could then fit in without undue clutter ... anyway .... I have editted this post and the one above because upon reflection the chance to sticky this is not that long in the tooth and Jerry has said he would look at this after blade ... so let's hope the info is "stickied" once they are back ...

Thanks for the info & I updated the Culti a bit on the list - look OK or should I add anything?

Challenging to get a good representation as they are all unique custom shop offerings...
