Busse Combat Proudly Presents The HUCK and The HUCK Fin NOW LIVE!!!

Switchblade_Renegade...
Is that back fin full sharpened?

From Jerry's post...HUCK Fin features a wickedly curved semi-sharpened Fin along the spine that greatly aids in penetration.

I bet it could be brought up to full sharpened status with the right tools... (maybe)... or a Custom Shop visit when it reopens.

Please tell me, Is that Green Canvas Handle material on the Pics of the FIN ?

I'm hearing the JAWS theme....

Oh my god this could well be my third Busse. I think the regular huck would be enough for my needs. Definitely one of those ones that I dreamed about. I don't really have the money now though. I sense a sell-athon coming soon from me.

I had asked Garth to make me a harpoon tip TTKZ a couple of years ago. He said he couldn't do it. Looks like I have my chance now but it's a harpoon KZII.

I wrote at 7:27 pm that I was going to resist this. My resolve lasted all of about 2 and a half hours! Of all the knives Jerry could have come up with, he comes out with the ONE style I had been wanting for a while and which made it impossible for me to resist it! Someone else basically said the same thing. Jerry must be a mind reader! Just ordered a heck of a HUCK with Black blade and Black/Tan G10. For once, I'm not in a hurry for this one to ship. I need some time to pay off the last knife I ordered that hasn't even shipped yet. Does anyone know of a chapter of IAA (INFI Addicts Anonymous) that meets in south west Ohio? I got a feeling I need to join!:D

Good question we will all be looking forward to finding out. :)
Here are some things to ponder in regards to the weight:

A .24" thick ~10" INFI CGFBM weighs about 26oz with canvas mags so due to the extra length & blade height I would guess these to be 30-34oz if the same thickness as advertised. Battlesaws were pretty much the same thickness stock as the CGFBM.

.265" thick NMFBM with G10 standards (similar weight to micarta mags) is 32oz

.285" thick NMFBM with G10 mags is over 35 oz

.30" thick similarly sized full flat primary grind blade in the KZ2 with micarta mags is over 32oz

.26" thick similarly sized convex primary grind blade in the TTKZ with G10 mags is over 36oz but the same blade sans custom work is near 39oz

.357" thick similarly sized (and customized to be lightened) FFG Moabolo is 32oz

Regardless, these blades will be awesome choppers! :D

Hmmm, I'm thinking about the merits of fin vs no-fin and micarta vs G10 from the point of view of balance.

In for a dark vixen: muddy with red/black g10

I don't need 2. I don't need 2. I don't need 2.
