Busse Combat Proudly Presents The INFI Combat Grade Battle Shark

I love the handles and would love to see it on a Gladius, Baby Gladius and a dagger. I would buy all 3!!!!

I wish it had rounded and smooth edges. I think I've gotten spoiled from LB treatments and NM blades.

I'm thinking, this coffin handle, red and black G10 slabs, with a slightly clipped satin blade from the ASHBM.........ohhhh, goosebumps.

I'm really liking this blade. I think this one will be highly sought after for many years.

Jerry / Garth,
Would it be possible to get more info and pics on this? Another angle or two of the blade (looking down on the spine) and a pic with any TG would be awesome. And pics in other color combos would be just perfect (tanker grey & green/black g10 and red/black g10)

Also any info on O/A weight and balance would be really helpful)

Thank you for creating this blade.

Where's the satin flat grind/Tigerhide linen LE version, Bossman??? THAT...would be hawt. :D

Satin version would be nice. I am stripping one of these beast the moment it hits my hands

Oh no, that Shark lady bit almost 3" off of Pappy's tip! The remaining 7.5" yields a cool looking end result.

IMO, the right question is: Does the knife have the proper balance?

Lightening holes in the handle are just one way to help acheive the proper balance.

I am not interested in balance, as I would bet 10,000 sheckles it balances right around the guard... mass distribution is independent of balance and given identical balance points different knives can have completely different mass distribution. IE... AK-47 balances an inch roughly in front of the choil yet so do many Busse Blades in the 8" and up category. Yet comparing something like Basic 8 to AK-47 would yield two entirely different mass distributions.

I can all but guarantee if it is full tang under the handle, I will hate how the knife handles/performs... just personal taste. Therefore all full tangs without lightening are an automatic disqualifier if we are talking about something I might be into. I almost bit on the Badger Ergo 2 for this very reason, though budgetary reasons kept me from indulging myself. All the same though, this just makes it easier for me to just keep hitting the pass button. More to go around for everyone else... ;)

Hey littlehoot!

Your comment about the handle was right, but there are ar least a dozen great different styles that would also fly!

Then it hit me! A blade shape that would really work along the "dagger/dirk" lines. It is also one of my all-time favorite knives.

That is the Michael Price style knife. With a symmetrical blade profile and the coffin shape handle this would make a sweet elegant knife. It would even be better if it could be fitted with a one-time only antique white micarta handle.

Wow!!

I am curious to know if any of the other recent offerings have a drilled tang at all.

This is the only one I have noted that was mentioned to have such features, I have wondered the same thing as it may have set me over the edge on one or two potentially... that may have been bad indeed. It's something you could also do for yourself, though it really would be a pain in the butt doing to knives built like these are.

Yeah, I know I am capable of the mods. Honestly I have so many blades it isn't even that important, lol. Mostly just curious. I have 5 on the way and definitely still on the lookout for a couple more. It will be interesting to see what I like and if I feel the need to do some customizing on my favorites.

Wish I could be in on this one, but I'm already on the reserve $$$ tank for blades until I work up the will to start letting stuff go. Congrats to all who score!!!
