Up for trade is a Busse Dodo Bird Assault. New as received from Busse a couple of months ago. I am the original owner.
Black Blade, Hand Shaped Tiger Hide Micarta Scales. Super sharp (sharpest Busse I have ever received). Very light, with skeletonized handles, so it is super quick in the hand, especially for a Busse. Nuclear Meltdown treatment - all edges rounded. The words "Busse Custom Shop" "1 of 13" on one side of the blade, and "Sorry I was Drunk" JB on the other. There are two very light irregularities (lines or rub marks) in the crinkle coat about halfway down the blade on both sides , which only appear very faintly at certain angles, and which will not show up in photos. Otherwise the knife is mint. Pics available upon request.

"The blade is 10" long and 1/4" thick. OAL is 16". The blade is expertly crafted and has three distinct bevels including a very shallow hollow grind (primary bevel), Deep dish hollow grind (Spine bevel) and a Convex bevel at the tip.
It is fairly light at only 15.6 ounces w/o handles"
About the unusual "pregnant grip". It is okay (a lot better than I had expected), and there are a couple of ways to hold it (normal, chocked up using the choil, or you can even shift your grip to the very rear of the scales for added reach). I have medium to large size hands and it is not uncomfortable. That said, it's not completely perfect either, especially if you have small hands or if you were planning on doing a lot of chopping. As a fighting knife it would be great and it's also an unusual piece of Busse history. I am only looking to trade it because I am purchasing an Argonne Assault which has a very similar size and blade profile (I think they are the same, except the AA has the back edge sharpened).
