Love the RMD, feels great in the hand, like the length and the finger choil. What would the closest comparison to a Busse be in terms of form factor, blade length, and finger choil? The BATAC looks closest, but will wait for the recommendations from those who know. Thanks!

Haven't held one yet but the new SOB looks close.

I would 2nd this. Haven't held the new SOB but Brother it looks like it would be the perfect blade. Then I like the SAR5, BATAC, and of coarse the original SHBA :D.

The only thing that has me hesitating on the SOB is the lack of the finger choil. It is a da*n fine looking blade though! Keeping my eyes open for a tan canvas BATAC now...

I'd say SOB is about right comparison to RMD

Swamp rat had a run of street scrapper in INFI, 4 and 5" blades, looks close to RMD as well.

Don't overlook the BOSS STREET.... a little smaller but it's pretty close to usefulness (2nd one down)

BATAC. :)

So far, looks like BATAC FTW. And yes...and INFI RMD would be my grail, my desert island knife.

How similar are the batac and rmd in weight ? I guess my memory botched this one , I for some reason remember the batac weighing more

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Street Scrappers were made by Scrap Yard.

I'm a huge fan of the RatManDu. It's the only knife I own multiples of. Except for corrosion resistance, I don't think there's a lot to gain in moving from SR101 to INFI in a knife the size of the RatManDu . . . especially for the price difference. But that's just my opinion, of course. :)

Do we ever need to justify the need for INFI? :D

You probably are correct, I did not research too much into that one.

Another knife that is very close to the RMD is the Urban Grudge. It is not as tall, but otherwise it is very similar.
