Busse Equivalent To Ratmandu?

sorry to bring this back from the cemetery of 2014 but I need to know more about this blade! is it a SAR with modded handles? Im comparing it to my SAR4 and the palm swell seems to be wider than the SAR, especially because the middle of the handle on the SAR is the skinniest part of the handle.
can you post another picture of this one?
Im seriously considering doing this to my knife, if it was originally a SAR.
 
I got all excited, definitely in my Top 3 Favorite looking Vusses in that size... than I saw it was 1 off, oh man.... bummer
 
INFIDU...I think it's been mentioned...

I've owned some SOB's...if you're comparing to RMD>>>the handle ergos are very different between the 2... the SOB's a good deal thicker in cross section in the handle, and the SOB has that sizeable golf-ball like palm swell also....

Badger ATAK is closer in handle cross section width, but the top hump on the Badger feels different...maybe the handle's taller in that area on the Badger than the RMD.

I'd steer you in the direction of the SARsquatch...blade's quite a bit different, but the handle ergos are pretty similar, but different enough that I think you'd appreciate the subtlety, plus you have a nice choil on the squatch.

Skinny ASH1 was very comfy for me in the same way as the RMD, but the back end is way different from the RMD because of the ASH pommel...still worth a shot and you may really like the difference there.

But I'd bet you'd love a Hell Razor...vertical grip profile sorta similar to RMD, but very different <in a good way> in cross section, nice choil, and the thumb ramp area is sorta similar to RMD only larger.
 
Man that one off is friggin gorgeous. If that was available choil less.....my gosh. I always dreamed of a swatmandu choil less as well.

All the knives suggested are fine blades and worth considering, but clearly the closest "Busse" labeled knife to the Ratmandu is the ... Swatmandu. An Infidu is also functionally nearly identical to a swatmandu (having Busses proprietary steel Infi) but it is technically still a Swamp Rat product.

The Swatmandu has a nearly identical form, is made of infi, and is labeled Busse, so it fits all criteria.

Yup, if you love the Du just stick with it and all it's variations
Swatmandu is a winner for sure

Swatmandu if you gotta have a talon hole and the Busse logo. Infidu if you don't care for the fuller.

Damn near identical fraternal twins... Ok, so one was adopted by Busse. :) ...But seriously, a Du is a Du. ;)
