Busse..... Evolution

I am more curious to know if that is a bead of solder formed at the guard, or if it is just epoxy?

Beautiful knfie by the way. BUSSE did plan to make a guarded bowie out of INFI, but as usual, it was out of CNC machined parts, so it didn't have the same appeal and styling as the one in this thread.

That is a truly gorgeous knife. I cant fathom changeing a busse into another knife, but that doesnt detract from the beatuy of its present form.

I prefer the look of the original myself, because it keeps its Busse identity, but that is some fine work on the modifications. You can really tell that it was done by a professional. I'm glad you got the blade you wanted.

The steel ('acciaio).

So, the maker didn't HT the knife again...correct?
Grazie

Yes Correct.....

The guard is solder, only in the handle there is epoxy, over the pin, under the inlay.

The Battle Pappy, the bowie of Busse, is a very beautifull knife...... I hope to find one...

I'd say he ruined it. I guess maybe he just wanted the INFI steel? If so he must have paid a pretty penny to have all that work done. Reminds me of the plastic surgery cat-lady or else Michael Jackson. Why ruin a beautiful thing like a Busse?

I much prefer the original design.

You're right, but I got tired of that knife, and since I did not want to sell it, I changed into a form that I like more.
If I want another FFBM, I find it, sure.

Good on you Darrex....

If the knife makes you happy, then that is all that matters.

Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean he "ruined it"...
I doubt you'd be saying that if you didn't know it used to be a Busse

My dear, I will try to test it, to see if it actually works or not.......

An Italian Maker, Eros Sonvilla, but I think that a good maker could do it as well. ;)

Very classic and beautiful bowie Darrex!
FFBM,less unnecessary weight is equal to a real knife,is the natural law!
You should now put to the test the INFI.

Test INFI?

No no, my friend. You will not be testing the INFI..... the INFI will be testing you

:D

Extremely tasteful and visually pleasing.
A modern revision of a classic style with state of the art components.
Now that's a knife!

Here with Nexus Centurione

Looks very nice, but what in the world is that Nexus thing? It looks exactly like a white sparkly Lionsteel M7

Yes very similar, it's because the designer of the Nexus, now work for Lionsteel........
