Busse fans' favourite folder?

Folders get me trouble.
I rotate but my Emerson HD7 gets the most pocket time.
I just discovered the Higonokami tanto, which I highly recommend, and a Red Walter Wells custom folder is usually on me.
Close by are a Para Military and a SnG.

It can be flipped open.

Also, Greg did a video showing how to open it one handed. All it takes is some practice.

Thanks for the video.

They did an awesome run of Praetorian Stealths. Carbon fiber scale and titanium, black blade. They looked really sweet! I emailed the guy who was having them done through his web page and through his Facebook page and he never responded back to me (his page said he would send you an invoice to do it through PayPal). Maybe Medford will make them a production item

Hard question. Spyderco Chapparal when I'm "well dressed". It's small, beauty, light ( you forget it's there)razor of a knife. A CS voyager (3.5 inches blade) on most days. Sometimes a Manix translucent, Delica.... Or a little skeleton stainless folder my GF brought back from Spain.

Spyderco Police in G10 is retired ... Kinda big, scares folks. Don't want to attract attention. You can get a fine for carrying a knife in these parts.

Man that's a nice 452. I want one. I got the 392 a few weeks ago and have been trying to land one of these

Spyderco Endura clipped in strong side rear pocket and Spyderco Delica clipped in weak side rear pocket.:D

Rarely carry a folder any more, but when I do it's this big burly blade. Graymnan Satu, awesome folder!

Here with a Glock 23.

I like to carry a fixed blade along with my folder. Keep the fixed blade for the tough stuff, and the folder for the lighter work.

:D

I'm usually a spyderco fan but I've been loving the new ZT lineup.
Favorite 3 right now are my 0392, 0801S110V, and spear point XM-18.

Honestly, I don't carry the Satu that often, it's pretty huge. I usually rotate slightly smaller blades. Benchmade 710 in M390, 3.5" XM18, large Seb 21, or a Surefire EW04 are the usual suspects. I want to get my hands on one of those ZT 0452s, they look great!

You're welcome.

It's funny you mention the stealths. I also emailed the guy and never heard back. I guess he didn't want my money. Hopefully I can pick one up someday.

Yeah, I saw those too. Just call up Greg, Amy or Katie and custom order one. My Ti thats coming (in about two weeks lol) is kinda stealth I guess. All heavy tumbled black PVD sides and blade, polished blade face, and flamed hardware and clip. Cost a little extra to all a couple things but one you in that deep whats $50? lol

This is my current rotation:

Now all I need to make it through the next "two weeks" to order a Busse Folder!!! ---- ;)

I LOVE my ZT 0452CF...I love knives with big blades and a high quality knife like that with 4+ inches of razor sharp blade that is that lightweight is incredible to me. HIGHLY recommend anyone get one who likes long blades but doesn't want all the weight. Very sleek, smooth, and sexy!

My EDC for three years has been a LionSteel SR1. It is built like a Busse folder would be built. One solid piece of titanium for the entire body of the knife, sturdy spearpoint blade, mechanism for locking the lock so it's immovable, basically making it a fixed blade, etc.

There's a story behind it, too. When I bought it at Blade I wanted the silver titanium. The only silver one they had was stated to me a being an experimental steel, but they would sell it to me at the regular steel price. I had beat it up considerably before I found out that it was one of only a very few made in M390, and LionSteel collectors craved them. At this point I had used it heavily, so I shrugged and just kept using it.

I carry a SAK manager on my keys. Legal in the UK. I also have a mini-leatherman in my Bergan for hot lids/pots when cooking. Again legal here.

There are a couple of Spyderco UKPK's which float about between the car and the house and larger SAK's and Leatherman Juice models do similar duty.

If I am working abroad and need to carry a knife for more serious reasons - this is it.
