Just did a bit more research and I think it is double cut. i hope some pro's on BF can elaborate.

The standard factory finish on the ASH-1 CG was DCBB, or double-cut bead-blasted. There are relatively few .32" thick ASH-1s in satin finish. The double-cut finish is a very even finish compared to the vertical marks in the Busse satin finish.
