Hi,

Looking to trade a NIC (New in Cardboard) Busse Fatty Euro (OAL 10 1/4", blade 5 1/8" 1/4") for the following:

Busses
Swamp Rats
Calvary Sebenza
Wheelgun

I got a SR Camp Tramp. It was used once to chop limbs but because of the coating you wouldn't be able to tell. thought I would break it in, and give it some charactor but...guess not!

Any pics of your knife? INFI steel?
 
Fatty Euro is INFI.

It was a house cleaning sale that Busse held early this month.

I have a Swamprat INFICOOT with two sheaths (one is right handed and the other is left handed). Jerry Busse made a mistake and used INFI steel on a small run of Swamprats -- About 200. It was a one time mistake never to be repeated. This knife gives you 4.5" of INFI steel, a tough camo-colored crinkle finish, matching camo Resperine handle and two leather pouch sheaths.

Any interest in a BR? Lightly used opening paper rolls at work and stropped back into shape. Just a thought if you're looking for something larger than a CT. Got one of them too and a few Busse's somewhere. LOL

Isn't the 'fat' Euro a bit more than 1/4"? 1/4" is like standard, .27, chunky and .315 (5/16) fat. Can you mic it? I'm interested.

I'll try to put the tape measure on it over the weekend and see if she's chunky;)

I'm really looking for something 6" or 4". I'd consider a Camp Tramp, as I've never even held one.

I'd also consider Chris Reeve Project I or II (prefer the clip point). Would really like a Leaner Meaner, Lean Mean, or SFNO.
 
The CT is great, you'll love it. Another one to consider woyld be a Busse Basic 5. Right between your specs of 4 or 6". One of the nicest carring knives I've ever seen. ModInfi, 1/4" thick and Res-C grips.

Like I said, I have a CT, but a straight up trade would not be equitable for you. The Euro is worth a bit more. Just keep relative values in mind before you do any trades.

Mmm. He's right. The CT is a damn good knife, but it has been used though you'd never tell. Wouldn't really be in a even trade I'm afraid. Probably better off with wetdog as his is probably newer than mine.

Either way, get a CT at some point. ITs a great knife!

Nope, what I meant is the original cost of the 2 knives. My CT is used also, but the fact is, even new it cost less than the Euro. Besides, even 'user' Busse's that I've bought were not significantly less than new of the same model. Usually about $25, never more than $50. Same deal with the Rats. A bit of coating wear doesn't mean squat and saves you the stress of putting that first scratch in the coating. BTW I've been using mine for about 2 years, so I doubt that it looks newer than yours and that's not the point I was trying to make.

Hmm never thought about that with worn of coating. I hate the first few scratches. Good point. My CT got hit good, and I didn't even have it for a day. Ran into a RATK. Ouch.
 
Would really love a Leaner Meaner Street or a SFNO, I'll make up the difference....

Don't have a Leaner Meaner, but I DO have a LMS Prototype. This is not the new one, but the original LMS. If you're interested, E/M me wetdog1911@aol.com. This is extremely rare from a few years ago. Only 2 that I'm positive of. One on Bad Mojo and mine.
