Total Busse Fat Flat Battle Mistress re-work

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I sent one of those Fat Flat busse big knives off to Mike Stewart at BRK&T.

I asked for a convex -regrind and to knock the hots spots off the handle.

This is what he returned. This knife is still full thickness at the spine. .320 inches of INFI. Handle is much better and it fits the Custom Chuddy bear dangler holster very Well.

I tried to take picture that would show the graceful curves Mike found in the brutal Busse steel. This knife lost none of its power. Look at the tip in the pictures and notice the excellent taper Mike ground into the Tip.

Absolutley no need for additional sharpening..first knife ever that came like that for me. Enjoy the pics

That looks FRIGGIN' SWEET!!!

Any pics of the whole knife?

Well done, Mike!

Excellent results, Justabuyer!

I am having a REAL hard time getting whole knife pics to come out that do it any kind of justice at all. This thing is easily FBMLE or better grind quality except full blade convex now. But My pictures make it look like hell.

It needs better. I wonder if I could get lunde to take some snap shots of it...LOL

Through me...20 bucks a referral. :D I don't know if he wants to do billions of these through.

I almost did not post this here cuz I don't want burn out my "source". :p

I have been trying to do that with my M6 for a long time... mixed results....

you got a great blade there...

don't let ban see this!!

Already have ;) Now that is one mean looking sucker  That edge must be killer

Did he convex the whole blade? I would like to see pics of the whole knife if possible ;)

The flats still show those INFImous dimples. My own version of a reworked FFBM is currently in the works.

Wow I really really like that. Can you email me with where you sent(just to BRK&T? main store) it and how much it cost? Thanks.

No it was done from the saber grind line down. I asked to try to keep full spine thickness. I figured INFI was tough right? Why not have some weight driveing the edge on impact.

Just wanted a poor mans LE with all the advantages of Convex/ zero edge.

I am going to sell my FBMLEs at this point at least one. In my opinion this is a better blade at this point.
