Busse FFFBM rework Convex regrind and Sheath

No it was done from the saber grind line down. I asked to try to keep full spine thickness. I figured INFI was tough right? Why not have some weight driveing the edge on impact.

Just wanted a poor mans LE with all the advantages of Convex/ zero edge.

I am going to sell my FBMLEs at this point at least one. In my opinion this is a better blade at this point.

Yeah, INFI is definately tough enough for that type of profile. I am sure that thing is now one serious chopping machine. The weight and zero edge would make it very efficient. Have you tried it out to see how it performs? If not then bring it over and let me break it in for yah ;)

Cool want to beat some wood this week end? I am serious. I would love to chop and do some testing on various "versions" of the BM knives.

I can provide 5 or 6 different configs all well enough done to be good examples of the breed. Lemme know I have either Sat or Sunday free.

PM sent!!! I am really excited about getting to share this with somebody...

Nobody I know in Real life gives a damn about silly assed knife obsessions.:D

I have a Mean Streets that a prior owner had full convex ground by Mike. Mike is known for doing great convex grinds, and I own several of his knives.

But on my knife I wonder why they didn't pull the slabs and finish the exposed tang. As nice as the grind is on mine the dimples on the tang make it look like they just did half the job. I mean really… even Grindducci can remove and refasten slabs. :p

Yeah who wants to finally get their new mistress stripped and find she has old acne dimples all over the place.:grumpy:

It sounds like a party at Ban's place on Sunday.

He has lots of old 2x4's and plywood in his shop and it's in an industrial area so there is no one to complain about chopping noise.

I'll bring along my EU-17 Magnum, 'Ganza AK, ASH-1 SE and a few other toys.

If you are local to San Jose CA, let Ban know, you will probably be invited (he has to keep out the undesireables).

Bonus, if you have a Busse that Ban really likes, he will put a free recurve and flying serrations on it.
