Speaking as somebody new to Busse, I find myself looking at a lot of different sites about Busses.

I started wondering today...What would be considered Busse's flagship model?

My first thought was the BM, but then I got to looking at the SH family...

Is there a concrete answer?

Discuss...:p

The one I associate the brand with is the Battle Mistress. I'm not sure this classifies it as the flagship model though.

Steel Heart started it all, Battle Mistress was secondary.

There is an old UF, or Shark variation that had amost the exact SH1 profile to it with a little more hump in the spine. The pre-Infi days hold all the answers;)

Some will chime in that the SFNO may also qualify...it's just a weaked SH IMHO:D

Or maybe it's this one???

Heavy Heart. Hard to not be the flagship blade if it's the logo of the company.

I thought the same thing, but wasn't sure of early models.

That's something I didn't know, and an excellent point for the SHs.

Sus Scrofa :barf:

:D

HAHAHAHA! I didn't want to say it really but the beers are getting to me I guess...it's not my favorite model either. Then again I'm just not creative enough to imagine all the uses for it. ;)

Steel Heart. It is head line of the official website.

I fall in love with Busse by Steel Heart at first, never thought a perfection can get BIGGER & MONSTEROUS!

The Steel Heart is definitely the flagship model...
they use it in their logo aftre all.

But I will say that the Battle Mistress is the flagship model for INFI. ;)
It was the first blade to be produced from the now legendary steel.

Heavy Heart. Hard to not be the flagship blade if it's the logo of the company.

I believe the FSH Protos / Test Teams of 2005 were saber ground and the basis of the logo. :)

Who knows... the HH's may even be some of the leftover protos  :D

.

literally, I think, it's the HH FSH as others have mentioned.

however, IMO the defacto iconographic Busse knife is really a BM of any sort.

nothings says "Busse" more than a big fat slab of INFI like a Satin BM (FFBM, FBMLE, SHBM, etc)

I can't argue with the mention that the BM could be the INFI flagship:thumbup:

Until a certain A2 anomaly rears it's ugly head:D

How about it Jerry? I'd be very interested to know...is the SH your idea of the perfect heavy-use knife, or has the BM become more of a passion? Do you favor one over the other, or is it another model?

The guy is hardly sober to answer. Surprise enough Busse still BRING IT!
They must have elves in the factory........

Busse Logo knife on their blades: the Fusion Steel Heart Heavy Heart. and if there was seconds, I would give it to the ASH1.
Both are uniquely Busse. I'm very happy with the return of the solid bolt Heavy Hearts that came out at Easton. can't wait to get one.. or a few. The Only thing I would really like to see included is a solid bolt ASH1...
