Busse Flagship

I'm going to throw my vote in for the Battle Mistress. In my mind's eye the BM defines Busse Combat.

On a side note, this might make for an interesting survey.... Maybe the survey could pop up on the BF front page to get votes from those who have yet to be converted.

Another vote for the Battle Mistress here. :D

That model just screems tough and Awesome, it's a classic. :)

I can't argue with the mention that the BM could be the INFI flagship:thumbup:

Until a certain A2 anomaly rears it's ugly head:D

 ... ... :

You bastid... YOU SUCK!!!! :p

Dibs! :D :D

The Battle Mistress definitely gets my vote. Specifically, the FBMLE. That blade embodies everything that Busse is about, IMHO.

A lot of love for both blades.

I'd still be very interested to hear from someone at the shop!

Well, gonna go get ready for free beer night upstairs! :D

I'll vote for the Steel Heart.

It was the first "Busse Combat" blade (SH-1).

I think the pre-ergo Steel Heart and Battle Mistress patterns are the essence of "Busse-ness".

They were mainstays of the line during a period when Busse went from Jerry at the grinder to a full-fledged company. Many of the current knives take styling cues from the SH and BM, and their best features have evolved into modern versions. If you saw only a small piece of one of these blades in a picture, it would still be recognizable as a Busse.

The Game Warden. More of those out there than you can shake a stick at. :p

I'll go with the Steel Heart on this one ....in any of the primary variations of it.

Speaking as somebody new to Busse, I find myself looking at a lot of different sites about Busses.

I started wondering today...What would be considered Busse's flagship model?

My first thought was the BM, but then I got to looking at the SH family...

Is there a concrete answer?

Discuss...:p

Perhaps it's the one in your avatar?

Ergo Steel Heart, Special Forces Natural Outlaw or the Fusion Battle Mistress. I'd love to have a heavy heart though. Then I'd vote for it. :p

Looking at the sites, I see that the BM has had about 10 variations, 13 for the SH. Now I'm getting a SH itch...great! :p
